VEGAN VS VEGETARIAN LIFESTYLE

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vegetarianism
Have you ever eaten the vegan or the vegetarian food yet? Both the vegan food and the vegetarian food are healthy. Both of them have somethings in common. The vegan food and the vegetarian food do not contain meat products. Unlike vegans, vegetarians can wear animal derived products. The vegan food and lifestyle are quite differ from the vegetarian food and lifestyle.

The vegan food includes plant products and does not use eggs, honey, and dairy products such as milk, cheese, or butter. In addition, vegan materials are not made from animal derived products. Vegan shoes and vegan accessories involve  microfiber, cork, faux leather, all synthetic material, polyurethane, canvas, mock croc, fake snake, and faux suede material. Vegan clothes are made from nylon, cotton, rayon, acrylic, linen, viscose, synthetic fabrics, denim, or twill material. Furthermore, vegans avoid animal based products such as woolen sweaters, leather shoes, fur coats, silk clothes, or gelatin medicine capsules. Moreover, vegan materials do not use suede, angora, pashmina, shearling, cashmere, camel hair, mohair, alpaca, fleece, snakeskin, alligator skin, or kangaroo skin because these products are the result from exploited animals.

Similarly to the vegan food, the vegetarian food also avoids meat products. However, vegetarians can also drink lactose milk or use dairy products. Food and various cakes are made from mixing eggs, honey, or cheese. Furthermore, vegetarians can wear any kind of clothes, shoes, and accessory material such as leather wallets, silk ties, woolen coats, shearling jackets, pashmina scarves, or fur sweaters. The vegetarian food  is convenient for people who want to avoid meat products.

The vegetarian food is almost as healthy as the vegan food. Vegans and vegetarians avoid meat products, and they do not consume any animal flesh . In addition, both of them use products from plants such as vegetables, fruits, beans, nuts, seeds, and grains which have low fat, high protein, and high fiber. The vegetarian food is nearly as high in calcium as the vegan food. The differences between vegans and vegetarians is that vegetarians consume dairy products and use animal derived products.

In conclusion, both the vegan food and the vegetarian food and lifestyle are beneficial to health. Both of them reduce obesity and diverse diseases. The vegan and the vegetarian food also help to protect the environment and keep the earth green. These really convey benefits for society.  Why not try to eat like one of them?

  1. Hi Dung, as usual, I enjoyed reading your post about one of my favorite topics :-). I appreciate how you give clear, unbiased information here about the similarities and differences between vegans and vegetarians since I know the distinctions are confusing to many people. I'm not sure I'm in complete agreement with your conclusion, however. It seems that you don't take a stand between which of the two diets is better for health and the environment. Don't you find the diary, egg, and other animal-derived industries to be negative on both counts? Would you not say that while vegetarianism is a good start, a person who truly wants to make the largest impact on his/her health and the environment--not to mention on the welfare of billions of animals--should consider a move to veganism?
